Camille's Second Chance

By the time Camille Hendrix reached the age of twenty-one, she had endured deceptions, betrayals, and abuse. She was forced into a marriage out of obligation that eventually resulted in divorce, leaving her to support herself and her two children; one born and one on the way. Yet, amidst all the hardships, there was one man who had genuinely loved her; until she left without offering an explanation, leaving an ache in her heart that remained present every day. Now, with a nursing degree under her belt and two young ones to raise, Camille was determined to return home and start anew. She was returning with a long story to tell, and she hoped Sawyer was willing to listen.
