Limitation of Life

In the near future, two friends find themselves in mortal danger. BRODIE receives a call from his sister, SHEILA - the time machine has been compromised and they must fix things.

In 2015, Brodie is a college student, who discovers that Shelia has been murdered. He learns of a KJ who might be responsible, but the police don't seem interested. After his education suffers, he goes to summer school where he meets CYMONE. They become friends, as Brodie is dating ALAINA. They grow closer until they sleep together. They agree it was a mistake and he returns to Alaina.

Brodie finds that he can't stay away from Cymone and resumes their affair. When they graduate, they separate and Brodie must focus on his future with Alaina. He does not get on with her best friend, SABRINA. She reveals that Brodie is cheating and Alaina breaks up with him. When he tries talking to her, Sabrina threatens him with her cousin, KJ. He makes the connection and asks where he is. Alaina reveals he is a criminal working for a man called Derek.

Cymone gets on a plane and meets Derek, KJ's criminal boss. They flirt and he invites her to dinner.

KJ is questioned over some files that Sheila had. She was working on time travel and they don't know where they went, but suspect her family does. Brodie arrives at KJ's house to find him shot. He warns him about the men coming for his family. Sabrina arrives and thinks that Brodie shot KJ. She calls the cops on him and he has to run.

With the help of his uncle, Brodie goes into hiding. Two goons kidnap his mother, demanding they return a USB. Brodie cannot reach it because Alaina has it, but he tries to bluff them by meeting in Cleveland. Derek learns of the meet and wants to be there. He cancels on Cymone, but she learns where he is going and gets a lift on his jet to see her grandmother. On her way out of the airport, she spots Brodie and follows him. She interrupts the meet and gets tied up.

Brodie gives Derek a fake USB. When he finds out, there is a stand off. His uncle is killed, but Brodie brought a grenade with him. He uses it to take down Derek, but his mother is killed too. Before Derek dies, he shoots Cymone. Brodie shoots Derek dead and flees. He hits a deer in the process and wakes up at the Carmichael Institute. Sheila appears and he passes out. He learns that he and his sister developed time travel, it is 2030. In 2015, his mom died, and KJ is their friend in the present day. Brodie is dating Sabrina and no one has heard of Cymone. Brodie needs to fix things before time cements. KJ is secretly working with Derek. They plan to have Sabrina marry him then they will own half the company. Derek is with Cymone.

Brodie returns to 2015, but so does KJ. Brodie has six hours to fix things. He saves his younger self, then heads off to protect his family. Brodie tries to save his parents, but they are killed by older KJ who is stuck in the past but uses the time to help his younger self get...
