The Jewel of Veenah

Kia and her bond sisters survive a surprise attack on their village and find themselves alone in the wilderness with only each other and their long-knives. The prophecy tells of a jewel which will set the people free, but without a Loresinger, they hardly understand the promises and can't hope to unlock the mystery. Set on a quest no one believes in, and facing an unbeatable enemy, Kia leads her family into the wild.
