The Narrow Road

People believe a lot of different things about salvation and many of those things are not true. It is dangerous to believe false things, especially when our eternal destiny is at stake. Therefore, we need to think critically about it to make sure we get it right.Salvation requires entrance through a narrow gate (trust in Christ alone), but there is more to it than that. The gate actually leads to a narrow and difficult road that we must travel. Many people assume their salvation is largely completed because the defining episode-a time of conversion-is history, and all that remains is to coast into heaven. However, salvation is not simply an event in our past, but a lifelong journey that leads to a promised inheritance. And all along the way, we make choices that will affect the outcome of that journey.
