Lemon is a collection of classic novels written by Kajii Motojiro, a Japanese writer who is called the "e;Three Artifacts"e; together with Dazai Osamu and Nakajima Atsushi. It includes a total of 26 short stories that have never been translated into Chinese. Kijiro Sakai's works, represented by lemon, reflect the shadow of war on everyone in the late Taishou Period, like the shadow in the heart of a patient ill for a long time. Even a small lemon is like a fresh and bright hope in a chaotic world. He is good at building the melancholy world and ideal of patients by means of symbolism and morbid fantasy. Writers, such as Yukio Mishima, said they were influenced by Kajii Motojiro.
