Born and raised in the Florida Keys, he was prolific in baseball and football in high school and in college. As a youth, when he wasn't playing sports, he spent a great deal of his time at the police academy doing volunteer work. After a stint with the Marine Corps, instead of pursuing a lucrative career in sports, his involvement in law enforcement intrigued him into becoming a private investigator, chasing bad guys, drug runners, solving crimes, murders, kidnappings, runaways, domestic violence and extortion. His home and his place of business is on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean. This is the author's 9th novel.
