Joseph Phillips, a newly elected MP, looks back on his reckless life and the grand Barbados of his fading memory, in an attempt to make sense of both. The people of his life have a say as well, including his sweet resolute wife, his volatile partners-in-crime, and his wistful, hot-blooded mistress Antoinette.
