A Beastly Kind of Love uses poetry and vivid illustrations to tell the story of a small, wounded bird finding healing and comfort in the hands of a gentle beast. The little bird experiences fear, loneliness, anger, and failure as it longs for a 'missing' loved one. Yet, it learns that love leaves a helpful force that can never be erased. Spaces are provided within the story and on memory pages at the end of the story for adding pictures and/or words to make the book a special keepsake.
