NASA recently compiled data that brings religious teachings into question.

We now know there are many galaxies like the Milky Way. We have observed the creation of bodies like the Earth. We have learned how galaxies are formed ... and this does not occur in six days.

While we have discovered that galaxies are millions of light-years distant from the Earth, we have not discovered Heaven. The great distance that Heaven appears to be from Earth questions the description of Jesus rising into Heaven.
