A Charmed Life

Neither an autobiography nor a travel journal, this is the story of 22 charms weaving their way backwards and forwards through Maggie's life, times, and around the world. Born in 1945, she endured a strict, cruel primary convent education while struggling to bond with her mother. Saving graces came in the form of her father, a love of nature and spirited determination. Each chapter in the story relates to a charm, evoking memories of both personal adventures and world-wide events, some joyous, some tragic, inviting the reader to involve themselves through their own memories of these times or similar circumstances.
