A Chickasaw Historical Atlas

Chickasaws have always demonstrated an awareness of place and a sense of their relationship with the land. From the detailed 1723 deerskin map gifted to Carolina colonists by Chickasaw leader Fani' Minko' to modern charts and satellite images constructed by the Chickasaw Nation's geospatial information department, this atlas brings together a collection of more than 150 maps and images that tell the story of our people from the advent of American colonization to the present day.
