A Darkness Realized

Eight soldiers and one tour of duty that will change their lives. When two seasoned specialists are teamed up with six first-time soldiers at Camp Speicher, Iraq, it falls to them to use their experience and wisdom to teach and guide. They hold true to this responsibility, even as the ensuing deployment becomes plagued with bad experiences, accidents, and personal losses. They stand firm as a team with a fast-developing bond. However, when they use the cover of darkness to let off steam partying in a disused bunker on a restricted area of base, they unwittingly unleash a frightening stream of events. A Darkness Realized is a stand-alone novel with heavy doses of military realism combined with paranormal activity and oppression, but it has been left open for an intended sequel.
