A dragonslayer's tale

Phraan of Twelve towers used to be a dragonslayer, and he was good at it, maybe too good for there havent been a dragon seen for fifty summers. But now they suddenly reappear and as his old team is reassembled they discover that the dragons have changed, and not for the better. Old tales have a core of truth and they will meet an enemy they no longer can hope to conquer. A mysterious stranger offers them the only possible solution but can they trust her? Can they have any hope of surviving such a mission? Through both love and heartbreak Phraan does discover that not even his own past is what he believed it to be, they all harbour secrets, some darker and more lethal than the others....
