A Great Man of Science

Throughout his life, Sir Fred Hoyle was, apart from being one of the greatest scientists of the twentieth century, a prolific writer in the fields of science fact, science fiction, politics and autobiography. Almost all of his books are now out of print,yet their messages remain as valid today as they did in the period in which they were written. As these books are not readily available, the reviews of them in Francis Andrew's work serve to provide a flavour of their contents and the sentiments which they express.
