A Greater Tradition

Mr. Fred V. Bernard has dedicated his life to the study of literature, specifically Elizabethan Literature, which has led him to write this book. He taught literature for 34 years at Wayne State University, The University of Michigan, and Aquinas College. 

Writers who adopt the structural method revealed in my study produce works so astonishing “because of our symmetrical additions” that they make almost every other critical effort appear to be the work of someone asleep.
