A Killing in the Red Room

When Suzanne Tassigny is killed under suspicious circumstances, her murder remains unsolved until her daughter, Chantal, returns to France a decade later to bring her murderer to justice. But the crime is no longer a police, or political priority in the midst of WWI, and her search fails until she enlists the help of her lover, The Honorable Mayor of Bordeaux.
