This book brings together Lacanian psychoanalysis, neuropsychoanalytic work by Mark Solms and Ariane Bazan, Jaak Panksepps affective neuroscience, Karl Fristons free energy principle, Adrian Johnstons transcendental materialist philosophy, and Darian Leaders critique of jouissance in Lacanian theory.
