This book is written primarily to enable its readers to understand how the political leaders of the poor nations which we call third world countries or developing countries provide poor leadership in terms of sinking their countries into perpetual economic disaster.
In speaking of Haiti, the writer outlines herein a proposal of a reorganization plan for this government. The alteration of the existing structure of governmental units with respect to the lines of control between them is necessary in order to promote greater efficiency and responsibility. A host of problems remain unresolved, including capital flight, an outdated tax code, a troubled financial system. The President of Haiti needs to implement reforms. Each Department Agency of his administration needs to reorganize in order to produce efficiency and restore confidence in public administration. No government has yet been credited with bringing economic stability to this impoverished nation which has been on the verge of collapse because of its economic woes such as unemployment, underemployment, hyperinflation, stagflation and depression. The past and current economic problem that Haiti has been faced for the last two centuries triggered a social phenomenon and widespread expressions of socioeconomic discontent. Will change occur in time to prevent serious political turmoil ?
It should be noted that in a poor country where economic disaster's the norm, other concern people of the world should be aware that such a poor nation is unable to feed its people. Health's hazard is rampant, there is no social security, no medicaid, and the windfall from the wealth of that nation is usually misappropriate.
