A Matter of Locution

This, the first collection of work by Scots poet R. J. Dunn, muses on many of the topics that have forever engaged the human heart and mind -- mortality, the nature of chance, the difficulties inherent in human communication, loneliness, how inner pain moulds outward action, the waste of war, the eternal effort to be true to oneself, and the enigmatic interplay between the spiritual and rational.

All the poems within its pages are previously unpublished, although a great many have been heard in poetry readings.
