A Message in the Christmas Tree is Jane Fallon Harper's debut children's story about a young mother and her five your old daughter's discovery of a written request in their Christmas Tree. Readers will learn about the heart-warming message they find and how Lucy and her mother respond to it. The story was inspired by her own daughter and her first child, Lucy. Jane Fallon Harper taught English for over 20 years in public schools in Massachusetts and Virginia. She was also a certified Reading specialist, an accomplishment inspired by her own brother's struggle with dyslexia. Jane passionately believes that reading to children and their subsequent ability to read equips them with a life-long opportunity to learn, to discover and to enjoy the magic of literature.
