Deportation of foreign national offenders has been a key aspect of the government's immigration policy in recent years. It splits families, often despite many years' residence in the UK, and the legal odds are very clearly stacked against individuals facing deportation. In this book, aimed at legal practitioners but also accessible to those affected by deportation processes, we examine the law, rules and guidance which has built up rapidly around this difficult subject.
