A prayer of a poor girl

have always wanted one thing in my life and that was to have
my mother and father by my side but today, even the woman
who gave birth to me still see me as a stranger, why did she
keep me alive at the very beginning? This pain is hard to
handle. For years the world has asked countless questions on
who my mother is but couldn't even answer that question. She
was never present. I hate the fact that she was away for years
and even though she is back, she felt no remorse for the years
she was away," said Amu.
Being raised in pain sometimes makes a person lose hope and
never think much about the future, one end up wanting to take
their life, some don't even think twice, they end up
committing suicide, we have those who take pain as a lesson to
success just like Amukelani 'Amu' who happened that she had
a dream of being a journalist and publishing a book but that
dream never came true, it was drowned by the bad situation of
life; being raped twice, her mother, Melinda, left her when she
