A Psalm for Solomon

The Arrival...

Friends came together to help with crib, changing station, and color for the room.It was a never to be forgotten experience. Our first baby is on the way!Often, when alone in the house. I will go to the room and sit on the rocking chair. I will look around and begin to imagine the cry of a baby in my house. My own baby!

Days turned to weeks, and weeks to months, and the baby arrived! I know every mother and every father can relate with this. The first few-minutes, and even days feels like a dreamland but,...What on Earth is my Child here for? This should be the preoccupied question on every parents' mind. It should be the quest for discovery of every father, every mother as well as everyone who to love a child.

Sad to say, this knowledge is not available on discovery channel or encyclopedia.It therefore makes it hard to pursue because it seems abstract. The truth however is,'Every child is born with a to-do-list'. It takes an intentional pursuit for parents to know, and relentless commitment with a heart of humility to aid a child to walk in his or her divine providence.

God in His Glorious Majesty parceled every child with mysteries to Wow Earth. It will be the honor of every father, every mother to aid the discovery and help nurture the reality.
