In A Reason to Hope, author Jeff Siegel shares his Jewish roots from immigrant grandparents to
his dysfunctional family. Autobiography about Jewish heritage. Jeff learns what it means to be a
Jew through his friendship with the cantor of his synagogue and his Bar Mitzvah lessons. He
learns character and commitment to the Jewish people through the lives of famous Jewish
baseball players Sandy Koufax and Kenny Holtzman. High school during the Vietnam War and
