A Second Chance

An engineer with thirty-five years of experience, Jonathan Daniels's settled life is turned upside down by the takeover of the firm he works for and his resulting redundancy. Almost simultaneously his marriage to Carol, from whom he has been drifting apart since their son left home, comes to an end.But it is not long before Jonathan has the chance to build a new life of his own. A meeting at the home of his former boss, Sir James Conroy, ends with him being offered a position at another company in which Sir James has an interest. And then, on a weekend motorbike trip, he meets Mo, and is presented with a second chance for personal happiness.
