The Great Spirit, The Almighty Creator, gave the Hopi their territory to take care of, and to protect it. This is the reason why the true Hopi have struggled to protect their land, their rights, and their sacred traditions. Our Creator, not a man or worldly government, gave the Hopi specific instructions to maintain their freedom and blessings. Through their obedience their land could not be taken away, but if people rebel against the laws and instructions given by The Great Spirit, people will lose everything. Prophecy Rock, which is located between the villages of Old Oraibi and Hotevilla, is a permanent symbol of Our Creator's Everlasting Word. The prophecy recorded upon that rock cannot be changed, or held back from being fulfilled. No matter what people choose to do, or believe to the contrary, Our Creator will bring to pass His righteous judgments upon the wicked; and blessings upon His people who love and obey Him. The beloved elders who attended the "Symposium in Honor of the Ancestors" have all passed away to their temporary resting place. Their hard work, their suffering, their dreams, and their visions have not been in vain. Now, it is our turn to carry out the great work Our Creator has purposed, to fight for the love and truth that will win over all oppression. Remember, Our Creator protects His people and His land, and none has power over Him. So, trust in Him, seek His instructions; wait upon Him for all your needs, to survive these last days, until He Returns.
