Queen Minerva's workers think that to be kicked out of the beehive is a terrible thing. Stories abound about the bad conditions at other hives.
The stories come from the queen via her memos, and since most bees have never lived in another hive, they accept what she tells them.
Adam, an industrious worker salesbee, isn't very happy at the beehive, but he's loyal. One day while he's out collecting nectar, he's blown off course and lands at a competing hive where he sees Mike, a bee he hasn't seen for months who he thought was dead.
Mike tells him the hive he's landed at is named Venus, and he has not been taken prisoner-he's there by choice. The Venus hive is profitable, and the bees there all seem happy to be working. They're part of a team working for a common goal.
Adam is amazed, and he hurries back to his home to spread a company culture where it isn't every bee for himself in A Tale of Two Beehives.
"In a Tale of Two Beehives Sharoq Almalki uses a fable to teach us all how to be better leaders. This delightful story will help you value your people and new ideas in a way that is positive and thought provoking. This book is a gift! Enjoy it and share it!"
