thrilling days of yesteryear.
Travel back in time with
your ancestors in Medieval
France as they survive the
Hundred Years War, the
Black Plague, and the Wars

the name Marsolais means
"Young Marcus" and has
been in Normandy since
the Romans occupied it.
Lemieux, which means
"The Best," has been in
Normandy since the
dreaded Viking invasions.
Together, the Lemieux and
Marsolais lived in the city
of Rouen, Normandy
during the 1600s.
Sometimes members of the
same parish, they changed
from Catholic to Protestant
and back again---as needed
to survive. Explore with
them as they are among the
first Europeans to cross the
vast Atlantic Ocean to
settle in the New World. In
their search for a better life,
they contributed their skills
to establish Quebec City
and open the North
American continent.
Follow them, as they
become citizens of the
United States at the turn of
the Twentieth Century,
around the time of the
Industrial Revolution.
