August 2020 marked the centenary of the ratification of the Nineteenth Amendment to the US Constitution, which guaranteed and protected womens constitutional right to vote across the United States.A Vote for Women is a joint venture between the Womens Vote Centennial Initiative (WVCI)an organization created to share information and stimulate activities around the country to mark this centenaryand the publisher St Jamess House, and has been produced to celebrate this landmark centenary. This fully illustrated, beautifully designed hardback book charts the history of the womens movements fight to claim the vote, and the advances that have resulted from that victory.
