Dumped by her fianc, out of a job and exiled to a sleepy Scottish village, Jinnie Cooper needs to get her life back on track.
To make ends meet, she starts work for the charismatic Sam Addin, owner of Out Of The Attic Antiques. When he gifts her a few items - including a battered lamp - little does she know she's only a few rubs away from magic and mayhem.

When Dhassim reveals he was once in love with alluring fellow genie, Aaliyah, Jinnie discovers the existence of a second lamp. She also shares a kiss with Sam, but fears they can only ever be friends. Meanwhile, Ed appears to be getting closer to down-on-her-luck single mum, Angela.With time running out for Dhassim and Jinnie growing closer to both Sam and Ed, their joint futures look uncertain.
