Marlon was always a hard worker with a low income. The Navy was a good fit for him at thirty-three years old. Marlon goes through tribulation at work in the US Navy and while boxing. You can read all that in this book. Marlon left the Navy in between work and boxing and enjoyed paradise in Hawaii before he went back to work and college. Hawaii would end short.

Marlon went back to Trenton, New Jersey, and started school with a great job at the Trane factory. He thought that he would be a supervisor there with his college education. That job would end. Also, Marlon had an accident, but wouldn't you know it-he got justice now! Marlon worked at two places (at the same time). That must only happen to the good guys (if you can remember these things) because that would drive the police crazy!

Then Marlon thought about boxing. It would be his first fight at the age of forty if the boxer would show up this time. Who else could pull this off? Marlon had superhigh power sparring at the gyms that led to nothing. Now Marlon is real mad! Still, Marlon would have his degree soon. However, in the book, some of the instructors and professors would fight him for his grades. He averaged a B but earned an A. Also, he has been through some wild stuff in his personal life. For instance, he came across a real monster! Marlon said forget all that above and started training for boxing at the age of fifty-seven. Who else could pull this off? The best is yet to come. The trainers are waiting for him to make his weight. That is a hard way to win a love, however exciting!
