Abigail's Apple

Abigail loves to take her books outdoors and read under shady trees in the summer. She also likes to take along her dog and perhaps an apple for a snack. One warm afternoon a sudden storm surprises her and she and her dog need to hurry back indoors. In the rush to get out of the storm she leaves her apple and book behind. What happens next is both magical and delicious!
