The purpose of this bookis to be part of the ongoing conversations.Perfect or not, Roe was working for America. Consequently,it did not need to be "fixed". The ignorance of attemptingto fix it when the ramifications were unknown, has resultedin chaos, confusion, inconvenience, and trauma forwomen who need abortions. In many cases, the viabilityof the embryo dictates an abortion. Also important is thefact that medical decisions were taken out of the hands ofphysicians. That is a "No, no"!The book also addresses the issue of poor ethics in theSupreme Court as this was also a factor in overturningRoe, as was arrogance.
