About You

This is a little poetry book that speaks about the world around us, speaks about the issues that define us, and then reveals all that is within us. The subject matter is plucked from the author’s immediate surroundings and examines personal and family values that almost anyone can relate to. While the author has attempted to write simply and gently, by design, some of the messages are stark and raw. But then life sometimes is raw, and some of its issues are pushed against our faces. If this is the case, then dance and play in the shadows, as behind every shadow is the light. The author invites you to share this light with her, because as much as this odyssey has sometimes placed the author on the swings and the roundabouts, she hopes that her reader will step off with her, knowing that the ride is indeed magical in spite of it.
