Absence of Evidence

Handsome but slightly shabby philosophy professor and confirmed bachelor George thinks he has the answer to all of life's burning questions. Lecturing to his students, grading papers, and enjoying the odd glass of wine while listening to a vinyl form the basis of his limited reality - until he literally runs into the alluring Beatrice.

He is captivated by her zest for life, easy-going nature, and sensual looks. Despite his tragic past, he finds he is ready to take another chance at love, and the two are caught in a whirlwind of magnetic attraction.

But soon, cracks begin appearing in her story and suspicions and doubts start to creep into George's consciousness. Why does Beatrice avoid meeting his family and friends? Why does she lie about her profession, and why does she have no online presence at all. Is she really who she says she is?

How can he tutor his students that a credulous individual will believe information to be true without the need for convincing evidence when he finds himself determined to find out the truth about Beatrice, no matter how shocking it may be?
