Advisability of Motorizing the Division Light Artillery

This paper is a comparison of three types of prime movers in the transportation of the division light artillery, with a view of pointing out certain advantages and disadvantages possessed by each type. The types so considered are (1) the animal-drawn type, and (2) the motor-propelled type. This latter type may be either truck-drawn or tractor-drawn.
