Witchcraft comes to Simba wildlife ranch in Tanzania and Maasai cattle start dying. Very soon, Lucy, Kal, Ellie, Matata and Fupi the terrier become caught up in this nightmare which threatens even their lives as they face the terrors of raging rivers, evil omens, night-time chanting and devil buffaloes. Will the children be able to discover the source of the witchcraft? Even if they do, will they be able to destroy it, before it destroys the ranch - and them?
