'A Kid Like Me' is the first book in the Albi Series. The book discusses autism and Albi's struggle to make friends. The series features kid-friendly books that discuss many issues children with autism face, such as; making friends, understanding facial expressions, and hypersensitivity to noise. The series aims to educate children, parents, and teachers about autism. The hope is that these books can educate and open up a dialogue about autism and diversity with children.
