Hope Ryan was born in Rhode Island and currently lives with her husband, Bill in a small coastal town where they own and operate an alpaca farm. Alice and the Alpaca Adventure is her first book and was written with her niece, Molly. The joy she experiences on the farm, her gratitude for the farm and her desire to share the farm, were her inspirations for the book.
