Alice in Venice

This novella dramatises several days in the wintry, mist-shrouded city of Venice as Alice Short seeks out and photographs locations used for the 1973 film Don't Look Now. But Alice is not alone - or is she? Who is the Frenchman, Alain, and what exactly is his business in this city? As the couple's conversations grow more and more intense, Alice moves ever closer to that moment when everything will come to an end.
