Alonna has been accepted into Aurelia's Royal Academy of Excellence, the most prestigious school in the Kingdom of Aurelia.

Accompanied by the talking cat, Ebony, Alonna journeys from her rural hometown of Fairwood to New Haven, the capital of Aurelia.

Along the way she makes new friends. When one of them goes missing, she is accused of the crime.

She has one chance to prove her innocence, find her missing friend.

Assisting with the investigation, Alonna uncovers a sinister plot that may go deeper than anyone suspects.
