"I love life so much I never want it to end..." I was born and I loved life. I was very lucky. And then, like all of us, I discovered death. It was a Tuesday afternoon and Thirsty the goldfish had died. I was very sad, but what was worse, far worse, was that I was told that one day I was also going to die! This little unwelcome piece of information really put a spin on my world and the way I looked at it. I started not liking life so much as I once had. I watched how others reacted differently to this piece of information. It stays with us like a hovercraft just beyond the ears and years and flamingo-coloured fears. All of this will one day be over. It makes us do strange things, this hovercraft. My hovercraft is magenta.
