Always

Always tells the story of Mia, in the long ago past, as she meets her one true soulmate, Cody. They have a short time to learn about their connection, and when a tragic accident takes him away, she is promised they will meet again.

Hundreds of years later, Mia and Cody meet again, but they are unaware of their connection until Cody dies in yet another tragic accident. Margot discovers Mia and Cody's past life during a seizure as she has an out-of-body experience in which her soul unites with her long-dead grandmother. Reluctantly, Margot agrees to a new life of carrying messages from the dead to the living.

Using her gift, Margot gains a new freedom to explore a different side of her school. She finds herself in some dangerous situations, but Cody is always watching out for her, and he even finds a way to return to her as she thrives in her new life.
