America Is John the Baptist of Nations

Like Jonah this is a story of self-doubt, self-insecurity, fear (not from lack of God's abilities but fear of personal assaults and self-image.) It's a story of a lifetime of seeing life from a bigger perspective and not concerned with individual concerns, like from a national perspective rather than from person to person. It is a story of wanting to share the peace and love experienced but always having the reality that our time as a nation has little time left to be an example for the world. It's a story of picking up bits of information that show why and how America was created by Jesus and why we were created to be a pre-runner for the Kingdom which Christ will establish. As a pre-runner we are the final nation created by the Gentiles to see if we can do what the Israelites were not able to do. It's a story of the two nations with very similar histories and now apparently with very similar endings. You will read how Scripture attempted to save Israel and how it is warning us.
