Fred Stoker is a very confused man. He is a thinker, a jerk, a crazy person who is trying to organize his life with messy ideas. One day, he meets a lady who brings balance to his world. However, it takes a while for him to love her. Here is a sample of his philosophy of life: "We are gears in action. We'll do everything necessary to facilitate and perpetuate our existence. We invent science to defeat human limitations, also to learn about the past, the present and the afterlife. We invent technology to make our work easier and to produce more happiness. We want to make the human being a controlling entity, not subjugated to the material reality. We will not perish. We cannot be extinguished. We will keep going no matter what happens. If there were the possibility that human existence could be held back by human existence itself, then we would no longer exist; history itself would have stopped; in fact, I would never have been speaking these words to you right now. Disasters, wars, diseases of the past, everything, would have destroyed us. But it hasn't been that way. We come to a great crossroads. And there is no answer to that. There will always be something else that extends the human will towards the future. We will never end. Human existence will always seek to produce yet more human existence. I know this because we have brains that manipulate realities, build future and collect ashes and turn them into artistic wonders. We humans decide the direction we want to give things. We are the masters of the mutability of the elements of life."
