An Amber Scent

Amber Green is 15 years old and lives in a small, boring town in Lincolnshire. A loner, she writes poetry and plays the organ. Her music teacher pairs her up with another organ student to learn duets for a concert. Amber does not want to be paired with anybody, and definitely not with a boy. Despite their differences ("chalk and cheese," Amber says), they work on their music, but personal and family issues intrude.
