An Artist in Her Basement

One late afternoon, artist Adriann Alejandro knocked on the door of a woman needing to be loved.

Recently divorced, childless and still clinging to hope, Sarah Nicole Martin moved to the hills of Kentucky to open an Artist retreat. This was a dream she had planned with her ex-husband who was now planning a new life with his pregnant mistress.

Sarah places an ad on Craig's list for her first tenant and is stunned when her expectant female tenant Adriann, is a semi-famous tall muscle-bound modern-day Hercules.

Unlike Sarah, Adriann Alejandro had checked Sarah's social media footprint. It was practically nonexistent. Just what he needed to maintain his anonymity and to create in peace. What he hadn't counted on was his instant attraction to Sarah's beauty and her heart. This was a bad sign for a man who had finally come to terms with living the life of a celibate recluse for redemptive reasons known only to God. This living arrangement could go one way or the other.

Unless Clyde Perkins, the town busybody and chairperson for the "Most Beautiful Small Town in America Committee," can convince Sarah to enlist Adriann to become the town's artist in resident to help them win the esteemed title.
