An Audience with the King

By law, everyone has the right to come to the King, but few do. And certainly no one believes it's right for someone like Nelia to take advantage of that law. They would make it illegal for her to go if they could.

But after war, sickness and a lifetime of being swept aside and told she is of no value, Nelia is determined to defy everyone around her and exercise her right. Others before her traveled to receive peace, but she needs something more substantive from the King.

She is in search of a purpose, but can the King give her that?
