It provides a comparison of the AASL Information Literacy Standards for Student Learning to the ACRL information literacy standards, including specific lessons to teach these standards; check lists to make sure students know, understand, and can demonstrate their use; and formative and summative assessment ideas to assure that the students are information literacy ready for college.
