Ang Tak

Ang Tak is the story of Tony Pinasa, an amateur golfer competing at the Masters. Narrated by his caddie, Ang Tak takes the reader inside the ropes at Augusta National, revealing the stresses and strains between player and caddie, player and player, and, outside the round, between player and family. Its about a young man whose life has been defined by his violent temper, and his struggle to control it.

Because Tony's father was a Sherpa, this is also a story of one of the worlds poorest countries, Nepal, struggling to find its way since the massacre of its ruling family in 2001, a tragedy that also took the life of Tonys father.

Set amid the shots and strategies of the Masters, Ang Tak is a story of loss and healing, exploring ethics, sacrifice and sportsmanship against the beauty of Augusta National.
